Dr. Jeffrey M. Loria has been practicing leading-edge gastroenterology and internal medicine for over two decades. Conveniently located on New York City’s Upper East Side, he provides comprehensive consultations with unparalleled attention to detail and each patient’s unique medical history, along with a full scope of the most advanced diagnostic and treatment modalities. Dr. Loria performs upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, colon cancer screening, capsule endoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and more. He routinely treats such conditions as acid reflux (GERD), abdominal pain, hemorrhoids, and irritable and inflammatory bowel disease. He is passionate about colon cancer screening.
All endoscopic procedures are performed at Carnegie Hill Endoscopy, a 15,000-square foot state-of-the-art facility located on Lexington Avenue between 97th and 98th street.
In addition to his extensive knowledge and superb technical skill, Dr. Loria is most appreciated by patients for always taking the time to thoroughly answer their questions and explain diagnoses and treatment options in easy-to-understand language.
A graduate of Emory University and New York Medical College, Dr. Loria currently serves as a clinical instructor at the NYU School of Medicine and is an active attending physician at NYU Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.
